Originally designed as a liner for the CWU-7/P, this is a rare example of a liner jacket from the early 1960s, a time when flight jackets were first introduced.
While intended as a liner, it can be worn as a standalone jacket, featuring a double closure with both a zipper and snap buttons.
The outer fabric is a reproduction of the 1960s US military nylon W-ripstop.
The jacket is insulated with thin, high-tech Thinsulate.
The lining is made of high-density nylon taffeta.
It has a soft, unique texture and water-repellent properties.
Changes from the 2022-2nd edition include a redesigned front pocket.
The pocket is a simple design that utilizes the panel seams. The construction is thoroughly simplified with a serged finish.
